Wine tasting in January

By | Wine tour

Happy New Year, happy new beginnings, resolutions and all that jazz. My New Year’s resolution this year is to eat healthy and to be awesome in every stretch of my imagination. I wish that for each of you, as well.

January, so far, has been quite cold and rainy in the bay area. On a positive note, with all the rain, the news is that Northern California is no longer in a drought. All our local reservoirs are full. We also get the beautiful and luscious green and velvety hills and mountains. I can already see the mustard seed growing between the rows in the vineyards.

I told you last month some of the favorite wineries in Napa and said I would name some of the favorites in Sonoma.

To name a few wine tours that were popular… Gundlach Bundschu, Scribe, Cline, Ram’s Gate, Gloria Ferrer; Benziger and Imagery in Glen Ellen and Kunde and VJB in Kenwood. Next month I’ll tell you the favorites in Dry Creek and Healdsburg.

I’m already taking reservations for Napa and Sonoma wine tours for the new year and the spring season which is known as “Budbreak.”

Tonight I’m drinking a 2013 Estate Vineyard Zinfandel from Gundlach Bundschu. Cheers!

Give Let’s Roll Wine Tours a call. We are your designated drivers for the wine country.

The rains have come and gone … for now.

It’s a sumptuous green velvet turf all throughout the hills and valleys of this beautiful land of Northern California. Here in Marin County our reservoirs are full and they say will hold us for only two years. We still need more rain folks.

On the other hand I have had a couple cancellations with wine tours and photo shoots because of the rain. Oh no!! On the bright side it has given me some time to catch up on home chores and paperwork.

The vineyards are so close to bud break, I’m thinking in the next two weeks when we get some clear and warmer weather BAM! Bud Break!! It’s so exciting this time of year to see the first buds and green leaves pop up through the grapevine shoots.

We’re here for you.  Let’s Roll!

It’s time to CELEBRATE!

By | Wine tour

It’s time to CELEBRATE the launch of my new website. Thank you for stopping by!

Blogging, blogging. It’s all about blogging these days. I’m still learning how this new way of getting the word out to all of you works and feel I’m on the fast track to learning more about social media and SEO.

The website has a few new services offered. The Chardonnay, the Pinot and the Cabernet packages are offering photography, wine and boxed lunches for those who want more in their wine tour experience.

Let’s Roll Wine Tours will be going into its fourth year of operation. We’re moving into the low season, which has its advantages. Less crowds usually equals less traffic, but always beautiful no matter what time of year you’re here. We are always open and ready to show you the beautiful vineyards of Napa and Sonoma County wineries.

The fall colors have been simply amazing this season. The crimson reds and colorful yellows were more vibrant than I’ve ever seen them. We recently stopped by Artesa Winery in Sonoma County and the scenery was breathtaking. Their outside area was spectacular and the weather was perfect for tasting a delicious chardonnay.

I plan on blogging a couple times a month (or more) so you can read and see what’s happening with the wine tours. Exciting times ahead and I’m looking forward to hearing from you.

Being open to new and creative ideas for having the best experience ever is very important so if you think you have something to add please let me know.

Let the good times roll!
